Maeve E. Cannon

Ms. Cannon brings 18 years of experience in the areas of public procurement, administrative law and regulatory compliance and has represented clients before a myriad of state administrative agencies including: the Departments of Treasury, Labor and Environmental Protection. Ms. Cannon has spent her career assisting clients in all aspects of public procurement disputes and issues at the State and Local levels, advising clients at all stages of the procurement process from challenging bid specifications to bid protest and post bid compliance.

As Township Attorney to the Township of Ewing from 2001 to 2007 and Attorney to the Ewing Township Redevelopment Authority from 1999 to 2002, Ms. Cannon was closely involved in numerous aspects of public/private interaction. She has been intimately involved in the development of policy and implementation of numerous diverse governmental initiatives including such areas as the creation and adoption of a redevelopment plan, redevelopment projects and redeveloper agreements, condemnation, land development, land preservation, vacation of public lands, licensing and operation of licensed facilities.

Ms. Cannon is a frequent lecturer on public procurement issues.  She is a graduate of Colorado College and Fordham University School of Law, and admitted to the practice law in the States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Ms. Cannon is very active in the Mercer County Community. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Womanspace, Inc. and was a member of the Greater Trenton Symphony Orchestra Association from 1995 to 2005. She is a past member of the Union Industrial Home for Children Corporate Resource Development Committee; Mercer County Community College Career Services Advisory Commission and a past president of the Greater Trenton Business and Professional Women. She resides with her family in Ewing, New Jersey.
